To our clients, supporters, and stakeholders… we appreciate you!

September 1, 2023, marks the one-year anniversary of the inception of Gilston Lintzeris PLLC. Led by Attorneys Gregory Gilston and Dean Lintzeris, our firm has prospered throughout our first full year in business. Gilston Lintzeris PLLC is a full-service law firm specializing in the areas of Family Law, Bankruptcy Law and Estate Planning. We are consistent, patient and professional, giving each new case our undivided attention while walking our clients through each step of the process. We consider ourselves to be a new kind of law firm in a challenging and constantly changing market, where we help our clients untangle their most complex legal issues. But what exactly does this mean? Well, over the last year we have learned a lot about our firm’s identity, what works, and what does not, and we would like to share these finding with our clients, supporters and stakeholders, since all of you have played an integral role in allowing us to prosper throughout our journey.

What has worked (and why)?

Limiting our caseload – This approach allows us to maintain the quality of our legal services, while providing individualized attention to our clients throughout their cases.

Operating lean and mean – Though our firm has mapped out a comprehensive growth plan for the future, we are finding that we maintain a focus on quality over quantity. Above all else, we care most about recruiting quality legal professionals who can provide solution-oriented legal services.

Let the clients lead the way – As legal professionals, we may know what the law says and how it applies to a given case. But what we have found is equally important to consider, and what the courts are often unaware of, is how things play out every day for the families and individuals, in their homes and in the community. Therefore, we let the clients’ individual experiences guide our approach to their cases while carefully managing expectations through our knowledge of and expertise in the law

Treat each client as an individual – We know that every case is different. Our attorneys approach each matter gently, empathically, and with a listening ear. If we can understand each client’s individual experiences, then we can put our best foot forward and help them find the solution best suited for them and their family.

What has not worked (and why)?

A rigid approach – Since every client’s case requires differing levels of involvement from our attorneys, we realize that we can’t structure our approach for every case the same way. With that being said, we have learned that we are able to provide an accurate assessment of our projected involvement with each client’s case after we conduct a comprehensive, one-hour consultation with each prospective client. At the same time, we acknowledge that circumstances can often change throughout our client’s journeys.

The free 15-minute consultation – We are more than willing to talk to a prospective client for a few minutes via phone. We want prospective clients to feel comfortable with moving forward with the legal services that we offer. However, 15 minutes does not do justice to the stories that most prospective clients wish to share. When prospective clients ask to schedule a 15-minute free consultation with one of our attorneys, we will generally recommend that they schedule a one-hour consultation so that our attorneys can better understand their experiences and assess their case. The cost of our one-hour consultation is always $100, which is a deep discount for an hour of our attorneys’ time.

The attorney deciding when their services are no longer needed – There’s a common misconception that a custody or support case may be over after the entry of an Order, or that a divorce case may be over after the entry of a decree. However,we have found that many clients require our continued legal assistance, even after the court rules on their matters. The attorneys at Gilston Lintzeris PLLC are here to help our clients at every stage of their cases. We view our attorney-client relationships as ongoing relationships, and we understand that our clients want to rely on us to help them find legal solutions throughout the legal process.

With all this in mind, we want to assure our clients, supporters, and stakeholders that this is only the beginning. We plan to grow our firm significantly, in a manner that offers more robust legal services to those who need us throughout the Greater Philadelphia area. It is of paramount importance that as we scale, we maintain the quality of our legal services, and deliver what we promise to everybody who entrusts our firm with handling their legal matters.

We thank you all for putting your faith in Gilston Lintzeris PLLC, and we are excited to continue serving our community in the future.
